On August 20, 2020 Guangzhou (International) animal husbandry exhibition officially opened. The animal epidemic prevention technology service center of Guangdong Institute of modern agricultural equipment (formerly Guangdong animal epidemic prevention material reserve center) and the exhibition project "Guangdong animal vaccine public welfare strict selection platform" were solemnly presented at the exhibition. In order to let more farmers understand the public welfare and strict selection platform of animal vaccines in Guangdong, understand the national compulsory immunization policy and the evaluation standards, measures and methods of compulsory immunization vaccine in Guangdong Province, and learn more about the storage and transportation conditions of biological products, and do a better job in the prevention and control of major animal diseases in Guangdong Province, the website also conducted video interviews with relevant personnel Talk about it.

(interview video)

How does Liaoning Yikang do avian influenza vaccine quality control?

First, we should control the main raw materials of avian influenza vaccine. What are the main raw materials? One is a kind of poison, one is a kind of egg, the other is a kind of white oil. The quality of these main raw materials must be grasped.

Second, we should control the production process of products. One is the hatching of breeding eggs; the second is the incubation time after inoculation; the third is the removal of allantoic fluid, miscellaneous protein and toxin of embryo toxin; the fourth, which is crucial, is how much to add. This process is very important.

Third, it is necessary to grasp the inspection of final products. Our current work quality standards and final product inspection mainly include five aspects. However, our Jinyu Yikang is not only limited to these five indicators, but also includes the determination of toxin, impurity protein and particle size, which have a great impact on the safety and efficiency of products.

Therefore, we should do the above three aspects in the quality control of avian influenza.

How to control the quality of chicken embryo source?

The source of our chicken embryos is to provide us with breeding eggs from designated chicken farms. We all hatch chicken embryos ourselves. We have the following management and regulations for breeders and breeders:

One is that breeding chickens can not be injected with avian influenza vaccine, which requires non immunization. Other vaccines for breeding chickens should be immunized, and some infectious diseases related to poultry should not occur in the process of egg supply, especially some bacterial diseases, such as Salmonella, Escherichia coli, mycoplasma and other infectious diseases, which are the requirements for breeding chickens.

What about eggs? We must carry out antibody test on the breeding eggs sent by each breed chicken farm of each batch. The antibody of avian influenza must be negative, and its hatching rate must reach more than 85%. Only in this way can we be qualified.

Finally, we control breeders every two months or so. We supervise and inspect them. What do we check? Mainly check the prevention and control of biosafety, because it is a non immune chicken. If they all die of avian influenza, we will be in a bad position. There will be no eggs. Therefore, we should check the disinfection measures and the direction of the flow of people and materials. At the same time, chicken blood should be taken to detect the antibodies against all major avian infectious diseases. The antibody against avian influenza should be negative. If the antibody of other infectious diseases, such as Newcastle disease and H9, is low, we should immediately carry out virus immunization.

We control the quality of eggs and chickens. Such control can ensure the quality of avian influenza vaccine.

How to control the source and quality of white oil?

White oil is the main raw material of our avian influenza vaccine, which involves the safety and potency of the vaccine. In recent years, we have mainly chosen white oil from two countries, one is France and the other is American. Our white oil is purchased in batches, and each batch is basically within the range of 60 tons to 100 tons. Before purchasing, after placing an order, we will pay him 50% advance payment. When the advance payment arrives, we will tell him to mail the sample to a chemical research institute in Shanghai, China. This is because in Europe and the United States, only our Shanghai prosecution of its quality is recognized and unique.

There are more than ten indicators of white oil. We need to focus on three indicators:

The first is the distribution of peptide chain. We require that the distribution of peptide chain of white oil must be peptide 14-peptide 20, which is qualified if the distribution reaches more than 80%. If the antibody is lower than 14, but the side effect is too large; if it is higher than 20, the whole antibody is relatively low, but the side effect is very small, and the absorption is good, then we choose the white oil of peptide chain of peptide 14-peptide 20.

The second indicator is kinematic viscosity, or viscosity. The consistency is very important, especially if I make this vaccine, the people and the farms can't use this drop. Its potency is not up to the standard.

The third is polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which is very important because white oil is extracted from petroleum. It's a by-product, and it's carcinogenic.

In other words, our chickens (usually) can be put on the market for 50 or 60 days, while our (white feathered chickens) are only about 40 days old. If the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are injected into chickens in a short period of time, they can not be completely degraded. Then people who eat this food are prone to cancer. So polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are very important to food safety, so we must consider the issue of food safety. Because we Jinyu group is a private enterprise owned by the state and the nation, it must bear the responsibility of biological safety and food safety.

So these three indicators must be considered, but there are other indicators.

After testing out, if he wants to receive the goods, he will send us his self inspection report, and we will compare them. If there is no problem, we think the white oil is qualified, and he also gives us a sample. We immediately made a small sample of avian influenza and injected the chicken to see its safety and efficiency.

These two pieces of money together, qualified, OK, delivery, goods to take half of the money to him. This is how we control the quality of white oil.

Suggestions on prevention and control of avian influenza

I think the prevention and control of avian influenza includes two parts.

One is to improve some of our farms and companies, in other words, some people's will and Thinking on the prevention and control of avian influenza. Some people, especially small and medium-sized farmers, think that after vaccination, there will be no avian influenza. This idea is wrong. It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of biological safety. There are three elements of infectious diseases: one is susceptible animals, one is the source of infection, and the other is the route of transmission. The susceptible animals chickens are there; the source of infection is so dense in our country, then the avian influenza must be a polluted environment; the key is to block the transmission route, otherwise no matter how good the vaccine is, it will not be able to prevent this disease. Therefore, it is necessary to raise the awareness of some people and individual breeding companies on the importance of avian influenza prevention and control and biosafety.

The second paragraph is to know that avian influenza virus is extremely easy to mutate. From the past stage, it will mutate in about two years. Then we should follow the epidemic in time and update the virus strain in time. This targeted vaccine strain can improve the specificity of our avian influenza vaccine and improve the quality of the vaccine, so as to prevent and control the disease.

I think if we do these two things well, we can prevent and control bird flu.

Suggestions and expectations for the public welfare and strict selection platform of animal vaccine in Guangdong Province

Guangdong Province is indeed the Economic Frontier Province in the reform and development of our country. Guangdong Province is the first to launch the strict selection platform for animal vaccine.

On the strict selection platform, I have two suggestions:

First, we must build the strict selection platform into a service platform. We should join hands with our vaccine company, some research institutes and universities to serve our breeding company together. What is the service? Epidemic disease detection, prevention and control of disease incidence and so on. This is to prevent and control the epidemic disease, so that our breeding company can obtain good economic benefits. I think the first one is to build a service platform.

Second, we should build a platform for bridges and ties. We will connect our vaccine companies and breeding companies through our platform to achieve seamless docking. We need high-quality vaccine and good service of our vaccine company to do a good job in disease prevention and control for our breeding company, so that chickens do not get sick, give full play to the production performance and achieve the maximum economic benefits.

I think we should strictly select the platform. First, we should build a service platform; second, we should build a bridge and link platform. I think its functions and functions will play a good role.
